Urdu (Lazmi) Baraye Jamaat Dahum is the compulsory Urdu textbook for Class 10 of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board. This PDF is a scan of the printed book: 189 pages in colour, with 26 pieces of prose and verse and a glossary.

The book opens with a hamd and a naat. The prose lessons include Mirza Muhammad Saeed, Nazaria-e-Pakistan, Paristan ki Shehzadi, Urdu Adab mein Eid-ul-Fitr, Mujhe Mere Doston se Bachao, Mulamma, Chughal Khor, Naam Dev Mali, Ali Bakhsh, Istanbul, and the letters of Ghalib and of Rasheed Ahmad Siddiqui. The verse part has poems such as Fatima bint-e-Abdullah, Kisan and Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan, followed by four ghazals. A one-page life-sketch of the writer comes before each lesson; lessons open with teaching objectives and end with an exercise (short questions, multiple choice, true or false, words and idioms in sentences, a grammar point), activities and a note for teachers. The glossary closes the book.

The compilers are Prof. Dr. Rafiuddin Hashmi and Dr. Abdullah Shah Hashmi, who is also the editor, with a review committee of nine. The imprint gives March 2016, first edition, first impression, published for the board by Ilmi Kitab Khana, Lahore, and approval by the Punjab Curriculum Authority in October 2013. No page is missing: printed pages 1 to 184 are all present.
