The Punjab Textbook Board's Urdu reader for Class 2 as first printed in March 1988: 27 poems and lessons in 82 scanned pages; one leaf (printed pages 51-52) is missing.

Darsi Kitab, Doosri Jamaat ke Liye is the Punjab Textbook Board's Urdu reader for Class 2, in its first experimental edition (tajrubati edition), first printing of March 1988. This PDF is a colour scan of a printed copy with 82 pages. Please note: one leaf, printed pages 51 and 52, is missing from this file: the end of the exercise of the lesson Chirya Ghar and the first page of the poem Kabaddi.

The reader has 27 poems and lessons: Dua (poem), Hamare Pyare Nabi, Pakistan, Koi Bura Nahin, Bagh ki Sair, Naat (poem), Ehtiyat, Bandar aur Baya, Meethi Eid, Wafadar Kutta, Billi ka Bachcha (poem), Nargis aur Kiran, Allama Iqbal, Mehnat ka Phal, Jab bhi Khana Khao (poem), Sachai ka Inaam, Suraj, Mukalma, Chirya Ghar, Kabaddi (poem), Amanatein, Sach ki Barkat, Khel Khel Mein, Kutta aur Parchhain (poem), Kaam ki Lagan, Chhanga Manga ki Sair, and Roshni aur Hararat. Lessons are followed by word lists, questions and exercises.

All rights are reserved with the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore, which prepared the book. Authors: Mrs. Qamar Jabeen Syed, M. D. Shafiqi Ahdi Puri, Mrs. Rashida Talmeez, Noor Khan Shaheen Malik and Raja Rasheed Mahmood (convener, editor and supervisor); artist Mian Ahmad Latif. It was printed at Naqoosh Press, Urdu Bazar, Lahore; the back cover gives 10,000 copies.
