How we handle notices
A valid notice removes the book, stops its file from being served and blocks the same file from being uploaded again.
Repeat infringers
Each removed upload is a strike. At 3 strikes an account loses the right to upload.
Counter-notices
Uploaders can dispute a removal. We forward it to the claimant and may restore the book after 10 business days.
Updated 10 Oct 2026, 07:15. A notice is counted in the month it arrived; decisions, counter-notices and restorations in the month they happened.
