Welcome to ebooks.pk. These terms are the rules for using the site, its online reader and its services. By using ebooks.pk you agree to them, to our privacy policy and to our copyright policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who may use ebooks.pk
Anyone may read and download on ebooks.pk without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old; if you are under 18, please use the site with the permission of a parent or guardian. Books meant for adult readers ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older before they open.
Using the library
- Books on ebooks.pk are for your personal, non-commercial reading and study. Each book's page shows the rights the person who shared it chose; unless those rights allow more, every book remains the property of its author and publisher.
- Respect how a book is offered. Some books can only be read online, show only a preview or have only a catalogue page, at the choice of their sharer or rights holder — do not try to get around this.
- Do not sell, rent, republish or redistribute books from ebooks.pk, and do not present anyone else's work as your own.
- Do not copy the site in bulk: no automated downloading, scraping or crawling beyond what search engines normally do, and no attempts to get around limits, security or access controls, or to disrupt the site.
Your account
Give accurate details and keep your password safe; you are responsible for what is done with your account. One person, one account — do not impersonate anyone or create accounts to get around a suspension or our repeat-infringer policy. You can close your account at any time from your settings.
Sharing books and other content
When member uploads are open, you may share books, notes, past papers, guides and narrations, and you may write reviews, reading lists and comments. For everything you share:
- Share only what you have the right to share, and choose its rights honestly (leave Not stated if you are not sure). Never share personal documents such as identity cards, result cards or roll-number slips.
- Give accurate titles, authors and details. No harmful files, spam, advertising or duplicates.
- Our editors may review what you share before it appears, and may edit, decline or remove it at any time.
- You keep any rights you have in your work. By sharing it, you allow ebooks.pk to store, copy, display and distribute it on the site and in its services (for example the online reader, search, sharing images and newsletters) for as long as it is shared here.
Community rules
Be respectful. Do not post anything that:
- insults or ridicules any religion, belief, sect or religious personality, or promotes hatred or violence against anyone;
- harasses, threatens or attacks other people, or shares their personal information;
- is obscene, defamatory or otherwise unlawful in Pakistan;
- is spam, advertising or a spoiler without warning.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and limit or close accounts that break them repeatedly. You can report a book, a review or a person, and block people you do not want to hear from.
Copyright and repeat infringers
We respond to copyright notices as described in our copyright policy. When a book you shared is removed after a valid notice, your account receives a copyright strike and the removed file can never be uploaded again. A book its rights holder lets stay — limited, kept as a catalogue page or claimed by them — gives no strike. Accounts that reach the strike limit lose the right to upload and may be closed. If you believe a book was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice through the link in our email.
Programmes with their own rules
Some parts of the site — the Partner Program, advertising, coins and the Book Bazaar — have their own rules, shown where you join or use them. Those rules apply in addition to these terms, and where they differ, the programme's own rules apply to that programme.
Ads, links and other websites
ebooks.pk may show ads and links to shops where you can buy printed copies; some of these links earn us a small commission, which never changes your price. Purchases happen on the shop's own website under its own terms, and we are not responsible for the content, products or policies of other websites, including those an ad leads to.
Changes and availability
The library changes every day: books are added, corrected and sometimes removed. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site, and we may update these terms — the latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. If you keep using ebooks.pk after a change, you accept the updated terms.
No warranty and limits of liability
The site and its books are provided “as is”. We work to keep files and information accurate and safe, but we cannot guarantee that every book, detail or file is complete, correct, free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, ebooks.pk is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, of books found on it or of other websites it links to.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
