Lughat-ul-Quran, the compulsory Arabic textbook for Class 8 from the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore: eight Arabic lessons, then Surah Yusuf, Ya-Sin, Al-Hujurat and Al-Waqiah with word-by-word Urdu meaning. Complete in 175 pages.

Lughat-ul-Quran (لغة القرآن) is the compulsory Arabic and Quran-with-translation textbook for Class 8 (Grade 8), published under the name of the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore. This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 175 pages in black and white, with 30 lessons in two parts.

Part one has eight Arabic lessons in prose, dialogue and verse, among them Sayyida Khadija (R.A.), the Hijri year, the justice of Hazrat Umar (R.A.), the heritage of Islamic civilisation and Muslim scholars. Each is followed by exercises and grammar points, and a list of new words with their Urdu meanings closes the part. Part two gives the Quran with the Urdu meaning under every word: Surah Yusuf, Surah Ya-Sin, Surah Al-Hujurat and Surah Al-Waqiah, divided into lessons by groups of verses.

The compilers include Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Azhar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishaq Qureshi and the late Prof. Dr. Saeedullah Qazi. No date of printing is shown inside this copy. Three stray pages sit inside the file (a repeat of page 171 and two label-only pages), but no page of the book is missing. The PDF file was produced in March 2018.
