Chemistry 11 (2016-17)

Chemistry 11 is the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board's chemistry textbook for Class 11 (Intermediate Part I, F.Sc. first year), written in English. This copy is a colour scan of the printed book of the 2016-17 session: 351 pages, with eleven chapters, a glossary, an index and an appendix of tables.

The chapters are Basic Concepts, Experimental Techniques in Chemistry, Gases, Liquids and Solids, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Thermochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium, Solutions, Electrochemistry and Reaction Kinetics. Each chapter is set out in numbered sections (1.1 Atom, 2.1 Filtration and so on) with figures and tables, and ends with an exercise. The appendix gives reference tables such as selected conversion factors and a solubility table.

The authors are Prof. Dr. Ali Mohammad, Prof. Choudhry Sana Ullah, Prof. Dr. Abid Zia, Prof. Dr. Shams-ul-Haq Qureshi, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Lateef Khan and Prof. Dr. Akbar Hussain; the first three are also its editors. The imprint reads first edition, 20th impression, May 2016, published for the board by Zareena Shahab Printers, Lahore; the book was approved by the Federal Ministry of Education in May 2003. The copy is complete (printed pages 1 to 347); the reverse side shows through on many pages of the scan.
