Itlaqi Barqiat 8 is the Applied Electricity book for Class 8 (Grade 8) of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore, written in Urdu for the practical subject taught in middle classes. This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 88 pages in black and white, with 20 practical jobs.

The jobs include observing the chemical effects of electric current and the safety devices used with appliances, verifying Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, using the energy meter and the wire gauge, wiring a tube light, a bulb and a socket by batten wiring, finding polarity, and earthing. Others study the construction of an ammeter, a voltmeter and a lamp, the DC and AC generator and the DC motor, and household appliances: the electric heater, iron and kettle. Every job lists the materials, sets out the procedure in a table beside circuit diagrams and drawings, and ends with questions.

The authors are Prof. Abdus Salam, Dr. Rafiq Ahmad Sahi and Dr. Muhammad Shafiq, and the editors are Abdul Rauf Zahid and Nazima Sheikh. The file opens with the inner title page instead of a colour cover. No date of printing is shown inside this copy; the PDF file was produced in March 2018.
