Pakistan Studies 10 (English Medium) (2018-19)

Pakistan Studies 10 is the English-medium Pakistan Studies textbook for Class 10 used in Punjab, prepared and published by Gohar Publishers, Urdu Bazar, Lahore. This is the full book in 128 pages, with five chapters numbered 6 to 10, continuing from the Class 9 book.

The chapters are History of Pakistan - II, Foreign Relations of Pakistan, Economic Development, Population, Society and Culture of Pakistan, and Protection of Women. Each chapter opens with the students' learning outcomes and is set out under section headings with captioned photographs and tables; the chapter on economic development covers minerals, agriculture, industry, energy, trade and ports, and the last chapter deals with the Punjab Protection of Women Against Violence Act 2016. Chapters end with an exercise of multiple choice, short-answer and detailed-answer questions and an activity.

The author is Professor Aftab Ahmad Dar (retd.), with four editors and a review committee of nine. The imprint gives February 2018, first edition, first impression, and states that the book was approved by the Punjab Curriculum Authority in December 2012. No page is missing.
