Mathematics 8 (English Medium) (2018-19)

This is the English-medium Mathematics book for Class 8 (Grade 8) of the Punjab board, in its eLearn.Punjab digital edition: every page carries the eLearn.Punjab header and the mark "version: 1.1". The file has 133 PDF pages, many of them two-page spreads, holding ten chapters.

The chapters are Operations on Sets, Real Numbers, Number Systems, Financial Arithmetic, Polynomials, Factorization and Simultaneous Equations, Fundamentals of Geometry, Practical Geometry, Areas and Volumes, and Information Handling. Each chapter is set out in numbered sections with worked examples, "Remember that" and "Note" boxes and numbered exercises, and ends with a review exercise and a summary. The pages are typeset text and drawings rather than scans, so they are sharp and the file is small.

Please note that this is not a scan of the printed book. It has no cover, credits, contents page or answers, and the page numbers restart in every chapter. Two units of the printed Class 8 book, Demonstrative Geometry and Introduction to Trigonometry, are not in this file, and neither are the glossary and the table of symbols. The Urdu-medium Mathematics 8 on this site has all twelve units.
