Dhat Kari 7 is the Punjab Textbook Board's Metalwork book for Class 7 (Grade 7), written in Urdu for the practical, workshop-based subject taught in middle classes. This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 72 pages in black and white, with ten sections.

The book begins with safety measures for the workshop and then sets out nine things to make: a book end, a pencil tray, a grater, a waste-paper basket, a tin soap dish, a frying spoon, a brazier (angeethi), a paper cutter and a flat chisel. Every project states the skills to be learnt and the use of the article, lists the materials with their sizes and the tools needed, and then gives the steps in a table beside dimensioned working drawings. Short notes on steel are worked in, including the kinds of carbon steel and their uses.

The author is Muhammad Shafi Mirza and the editor Javed Iqbal Dar. This copy was published for the board by Azad Book Depot, Urdu Bazar, Lahore, and carries the board's older name, Punjab Textbook Board. The file has no cover: it opens with a quotation of Quaid-e-Azam, and the title page is its third page. It is a low-resolution scan with soft but readable text. No date of printing is shown inside; the PDF file was produced in May 2018.
