About this book

An older Urdu-medium Mathematics textbook for Class 6 from the Punjab Textbook Board (file labelled 2010): eight units from fractions to information handling, with answers and glossary. Printed pages 104-105 and 192-193 and the imprint page are missing from this copy.

Riyazi 6 is an older Urdu-medium Mathematics textbook for Class 6 (Grade 6) of the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore. The board's file is labelled 2010; this edition has eight units and is a different book from the later thirteen-chapter Mathematics 6. The PDF has 201 pages in black and white.

The eight units are Fractions, Ratio and Proportion, Integers, Percentage, Average, Algebra, Geometry and Information Handling. Each unit opens with a list of what will be learnt, and the sections give the English term in brackets beside the Urdu one, with points to remember, worked examples and exercises. The book ends with the answers, a glossary of terms arranged by unit and an alphabetical index.

Please note that this copy is incomplete. Printed pages 104-105 and 192-193 are missing, the page that carries the imprint and the contents is not in the file, pages 133 and 134 are in swapped order, and there is no cover: the file opens with the title page. The scan is of low resolution, with soft but legible text. Because the imprint page is absent, the authors and the date of printing cannot be read from this copy.
