Punjabi 8, the revised Punjabi textbook for Class 8 from the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board: 36 lessons of poetry and prose in Shahmukhi script, each with word meanings and an exercise, complete in 92 pages.

Punjabi 8 is the Punjabi textbook for Class 8 (Grade 8) of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore; the cover marks it as the revised edition (Tarmeem Shuda). This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 92 pages in black and white, with 36 lessons in Punjabi written in the Shahmukhi script.

The lessons mix poetry and prose. The book opens with a hamd, a lesson on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and a naat, and goes on to Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA), hospitality, the good citizen, Qadir Yar, the Quaid-e-Azam, the Shalimar fair, atomic energy, clean air, Harappa, jokes, dohras and ghazals. The writers named in the contents include Hafeez Taib, Pir Fazal Gujrati, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, Dr. Faqir Muhammad Faqir, Sharif Sabir and Tanvir Bukhari. Every lesson ends with a table of difficult words and their meanings and an exercise.

The compilers are the late Sharif Sabir and Tanvir Bukhari, and the editor is Mrs. Razia Madad Ali. The imprint lines for date, edition and price are left blank in this copy; the PDF file was produced in March 2018.
