Fan-e-Choob Kari 8 is the Punjab Textbook Board's Woodwork book for Class 8 (Grade 8), written in Urdu for the practical, workshop-based subject taught in middle classes. This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 168 pages in black and white, with 17 projects.

Students make a test tube stand, a first aid box, a frame stand, a table lamp, a wooden mallet, a toy of three flying birds, a bench stop, a low stool (peerhi), a bedside table, a small table and an engraved name plate. Other sections explain lacquer and its kinds, sharpening a plane blade, fitting a tower bolt and a concealed lock in a door, and the general repair of a chair; the last asks for an individual or group project. Each project gives its use, objectives, the materials with sizes in millimetres, the tools, advance instructions and the steps with dimensioned line drawings. Two picture charts of woodworking tools close the book.

The authors are the late Muhammad Sharif Zia and Muhammad Siddique Waqar, and the editor is Javed Iqbal Dar; the book was reviewed by Zaheer-ul-Haq and Shahbaz-ur-Rehman. This copy was published for the board by Azad Book Depot, Urdu Bazar, Lahore, and carries the board's older name, Punjab Textbook Board. The file has no cover: it opens with a quotation of Quaid-e-Azam, and the title page is its third page. No date of printing is shown inside; the PDF was produced in May 2018 and is a low-resolution scan.
