Urdu 6 (Urdu Chhati Jamaat Ke Liye) is the Urdu textbook for Class 6 (Grade 6) used in Punjab. This is the full book in 144 pages: a colour PDF with 25 lessons and a glossary, published by Ch. Ghulam Rasul & Sons, Lahore, and also printed by the Punjab Textbook Board for free distribution in government schools.

The book mixes prose and poetry. It opens with a hamd by Ismail Meeruthi and a naat by Altaf Hussain Hali, and includes lessons on Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah, Murree, Defence Day, the sayings of Sheikh Saadi, the wonders of science, health and cleanliness, man and his environment, the organisation of Islamic countries, agriculture and industry, and mathematics, with poems by Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, Syed Muhammad Jafri, Tufail Hoshiarpuri, Naseem Amrohvi and Syed Zamir Jafri. Each lesson begins with its teaching objectives and a table of new words and ends with an exercise: short-answer questions, choosing the correct answer, word meanings, opposites and use in sentences. A glossary arranged lesson by lesson closes the book.

The authors are Dr. Muhammad Saleh Tahir, Prof. Muhammad Naeem Bazmi, Prof. Asad Ayub Niazi and Qais Chaudhry, and the editors are Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Hassan and Prof. Dr. Asif Awan. The imprint gives March 2018, first edition, and states that the book is approved under the National Curriculum 2006 and that the board prints it under a print licence from the publisher. No page is missing from this copy.
