About this book

Art and Drawing 7 from the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, in Urdu: six chapters on model drawing, representational and expressional painting, plane geometry, design and handicraft, complete in 84 pages (February 2018 printing).

Art and Drawing 7 is the Art and Drawing textbook for Class 7 (Grade 7) of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore, written in Urdu with English headings. This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 84 pages scanned in colour, with six chapters and a glossary.

The six chapters are Model Drawing, Representational Painting, Expressional Painting, Plane Geometry, Design and Handicraft. The book starts with a page of important instructions for drawing work, with pictures of the tools. Model Drawing explains eye level and the vanishing point and then shows one object on each page, such as a jar, drawn in numbered steps; the painting chapters draw fruit and vegetables in steps and then colour them; Plane Geometry sets numbered construction problems, each with its solution and figure; and Design introduces geometrical design and the primary colours.

The authors are Muhammad Siddique Waqar, the late Muhammad Sharif Zia and Samina Imran, and the editor is Muhammad Zaheer-ul-Haq. The imprint gives February 2018, first edition, 18th impression. The file opens with the inner title page instead of a colour cover, and no page is missing: printed pages 1 to 81 are all present. The PDF was produced in April 2018.
