Computer Science 9-10 (English Medium) — Part 2 (2018-19)

Computer Science for Class 9th-10th, Part 2, is the English-medium Computer Science textbook of the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore, that covers programming in GW-BASIC. This is the board's own PDF of the full book: 126 pages in black and white, with seven chapters, a glossary and an index.

The chapters are Problem Solving, Data Types, Assignment and Input/Output Statements, Control Structures, Arrays, Sub-Program and File Handling, Graphics in BASIC, and Microsoft Word. The programming chapters explain GW-BASIC statements with their syntax, examples and screen shots, from PRINT and GOTO to arrays, built-in functions and the graphics modes; the last chapter introduces the features of Microsoft Word with practice paragraphs. Chapters end with exercises that include multiple-choice and true or false items.

The authors are Syed Zulqurnain Jaffery, Ms. Shahina Naz and Mr. Asif Ali Magsi, and the editor is Mirza Mubasher Baig. The credits state that the book was approved by the Federal Ministry of Education in July 2006, and every page carries the footer "Not For Sale - PESRP". The file opens with a greyscale title page instead of a colour cover; no date of printing is shown inside, and the PDF was produced in March 2018. Printed pages 1 to 124 are all present.
