Physics 10 (English Medium) (2018-19)

This is the English-medium Physics textbook for Class 10 used in Punjab. The file holds the publisher's typeset pages of the book in colour: 201 pages with nine units, numbered 10 to 18, a glossary, an index and a bibliography.

The units are Simple Harmonic Motion and Waves, Sound, Geometrical Optics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetism, Basic Electronics, Information and Communication Technology, and Atomic and Nuclear Physics. Each unit opens with a photograph, the learning outcomes and its links with science, technology and society. The main text runs beside a narrow column of boxes headed "For your information", "Do you know?", "Quick Quiz" and "Physics insight", with worked examples, activities and self-assessment questions. Every unit ends with a summary, multiple choice questions, review questions, conceptual questions and numerical problems with their answers.

Please note that the file starts directly with Unit 10: it has no cover, title page, imprint or contents page, so the authors and the date of printing are not shown in it. Printed pages 1 to 201 are all present, and the pages carry the footer "Not For Sale - PESRP". The Urdu-medium Physics 10 on this site is a scan of the printed book with its covers.
