Biology 12 (2016-17)

Biology 12 is the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board's biology textbook for Class 12 (Intermediate Part II, F.Sc. pre-medical second year), written in English. This copy is a colour scan of the printed book of the 2016-17 session: 291 pages, with thirteen chapters numbered 15 to 27 in continuation of the Class 11 book, and a glossary.

The chapters are Homeostasis, Support and Movements, Coordination and Control, Reproduction, Growth and Development, Chromosomes and DNA, Cell Cycle, Variation and Genetics, Biotechnology, Evolution, Ecosystem, Some Major Ecosystems, and Man and his Environment. The text runs under coloured headings with key terms in bold, boxed side notes and numbered figures and tables; several chapters open with a Quranic verse and its English translation. Each chapter ends with an exercise of multiple-choice items, short questions and extensive questions, and a ten-page glossary closes the book.

The imprint reads first edition, 21st impression, May 2016, published for the board by Hakayat Publishers, Lahore; the book was approved by the Federal Ministry of Education in June 2003. The copy is complete: printed pages 1 to 278 and glossary pages I to X.
