Is dasht-e-jigar-tab ki khamosh faza mein

Fitrat ne faqat ret ke teele kiye tamir

About this nazm

"The Pyramids of Egypt": three couplets. In the silent, scorching desert nature built only mounds of sand, yet the skies bow before the grandeur of the pyramids: whose hand drew this picture of eternity? Free art from slavery to nature; men of skill are hunters, not the hunted.
