Surah At-Takwir

Surah At-Takwir (سورة التكوير, "The Folding Up") is the 81st surah of the Holy Quran. It has 29 ayahs and was revealed in Makkah.

In a series of short, vivid scenes it describes the Last Day: the sun folded up, the stars falling, the mountains set in motion, and the buried infant girl asked for what sin she was killed. It then affirms that the Quran is the word of a noble messenger.
