Surah Maryam

Surah Maryam (سورة مريم, "Mary") is the 19th surah of the Holy Quran. It has 98 ayahs and was revealed in Makkah.

It tells of the prayer of Zakariyya and the birth of Yahya, of Maryam and the miraculous birth of Isa, and of Ibrahim's appeal to his father, and mentions Musa, Ismail and Idris (peace be upon them all).
