Surah Al-Inshiqaq (سورة الانشقاق, "The Splitting Open") is the 84th surah of the Holy Quran. It has 25 ayahs and was revealed in Makkah.

It describes the sky splitting and the earth casting out what is in it, and tells man that he is toiling towards his Lord and will meet Him. One person receives his record in his right hand, another behind his back. It contains an ayah of prostration.
