Surah Al-Hajj

Surah Al-Hajj (سورة الحج, "The Pilgrimage") is the 22nd surah of the Holy Quran. It has 78 ayahs and was revealed in Madinah.

It opens with a warning about the Hour, recalls how Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was told to proclaim the pilgrimage, explains the meaning of its rites and sacrifice, and gives the believers permission to defend themselves.

This PDF gives the Arabic text of the surah only, without translation, in the large, clear Indo-Pak script that readers in Pakistan are used to, with ayah numbers and ruku marks. It has 15 pages and can be read online or downloaded for recitation and memorisation.
