About this book

Surah Yusuf (Joseph), the 12th surah of the Holy Quran: 111 ayahs, revealed in Makkah. Arabic text in clear Indo-Pak script.

Surah Yusuf (سورة يوسف, "Joseph") is the 12th surah of the Holy Quran. It has 111 ayahs and was revealed in Makkah.

It tells one story from beginning to end: the life of Yusuf (peace be upon him), from his dream and his brothers' jealousy to the well, prison in Egypt, his rise to authority and the reunion with his father Yaqub. The Quran calls it the best of stories.

This PDF gives the Arabic text of the surah only, without translation, in the large, clear Indo-Pak script that readers in Pakistan are used to, with ayah numbers and ruku marks. It has 19 pages and can be read online or downloaded for recitation and memorisation.
