Sahih Muslim Urdu (Volume 2)

Sahih Muslim (صحیح مسلم) is one of the six major collections of hadith (the Sihah Sitta) and, with Sahih al-Bukhari, one of the two collections known as the Sahihayn. It was compiled by Imam Abul-Husain Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Qushayri of Nishapur (d. 261 AH / 875 CE), who admitted only narrations that met strict conditions of authenticity.

This is the second of five volumes of the Urdu translation, with brief explanatory notes, by Professor Muhammad Yahya Sultan Mahmood Jalalpuri, in the edition published by Darul Ilm, Mumbai, in 2015. The Arabic text of each hadith is given with its Urdu translation.

Volume 2 covers hadith 1570 to 3397, from the Book of the Travellers' Prayer and its shortening to the Book of Hajj. Between them come the Friday and Eid prayers, funerals, Zakat and fasting.
