Jami Tirmizi Urdu (Volume 2)

Jami Tirmizi (جامع ترمذی), also called Sunan Tirmizi, is one of the six major collections of hadith (the Sihah Sitta), compiled by Imam Abu Isa Muhammad ibn Isa at-Tirmidhi (d. 279 AH / 892 CE). After each narration the compiler gives its grading, names other Companions who reported on the subject and notes how the early jurists acted on it.

This is the second and final volume of the Urdu translation by Allama Maulana Badi-uz-Zaman, brother of Allama Waheed-uz-Zaman. This edition adds the tahqiq and takhrij (grading and referencing) of Shaykh Nasiruddin al-Albani, with the language simplified and arranged by Hafiz Muhammad Anwar Zahid. It was published by Nomani Kutab Khana, Lahore. The Arabic text of each hadith is given with its Urdu translation.

Volume 2 covers hadith 2133 to 3956, from the chapters on the Divine Decree (Abwab al-Qadar) to the closing Abwab al-Ilal. It takes in trials and tribulations (Fitan), dreams, Zuhd, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell, faith, knowledge, manners, the virtues and Tafsir of the Qur'an, supplications and the virtues of the Prophet and his Companions (Manaqib).
