Each unit opens with its outline and the students' learning outcomes and has definitions, worked examples and numbered exercises; theorems are set out in tables of statements and reasons, and units end with review questions and a summary.

The authors are Dr. Karamat H. Dar and Prof. Irfan-ul-Haq, and the book was prepared for the board by Caravan Book House. The imprint gives January 2014 and states that the book is approved under the National Curriculum 2006; the cover is marked 2014-15. Please note that one leaf is missing from this copy: printed pages 144 and 145, the last page of Unit 7 and the opening page of Unit 8.
