About this ghazal

Nazir writes as a street vendor in the bazaar of love, with the refrain "bechta hun" (I am selling). He walks about with his heart on his palm looking for a buyer, sells openly the wine others sell in secret, offers earth and time and both worlds to the right customer, and when the stock is gone sells the empty shop too. In the end, he says, the poor man has nothing left to sell but his life. 3 couplets of the original are not included here.
