Three couplets titled "The East". The poet's song has torn open the tulip's collar, yet the morning breeze still searches for its garden; the spirit of the East has not found its form in Mustafa or in Raza Shah and is still looking for a body. His own khudi deserves punishment, he says, but the age is still looking for the gallows.
