Surah Al-Lahab (سورة اللهب, "The Flame"), also known as Surah Al-Masad, is the 111th surah of the Holy Quran. It has 5 ayahs and was revealed in Makkah.

It foretells the ruin of Abu Lahab, a bitter opponent of the Prophet, whose wealth and gains would not help him, and of his wife, the carrier of firewood.
