Mathematics 12 — KPK Textbook Board (2019-20)

Mathematics 12 is the Grade XII (Class 12, 2nd Year, FSc and ICS Part 2) mathematics textbook used under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, in its printing for the academic year 2019-20. This PDF is a scan of a printed copy: 527 pages, with 11 units and the answers. Please note: printed pages 287 and 288, in Unit 6, are missing from this file.

The eleven units are Functions and Limit, Differentiation, Higher Order Derivatives and Applications, Differentiation of Vector Functions, Integration, Plane Analytic Geometry: Straight Line, Conics I, Conics II, Differential Equations, Partial Differentiation and Introduction to Numerical Methods. Each unit opens with its learning outcomes and works through numbered sections with boxed definitions, worked examples and exercises; the answers are at the end. The book begins with an introduction to the symbolic package MAPLE. On the contents page the page numbers given for Units 4 to 11 run a few pages later than where those units actually begin.

The book is published by Leading Books Publisher, Peshawar, which holds the rights ("All rights reserved with Leading Books Publisher, Peshawar"), and carries the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board's name on its cover and title page. Its credits page says it was developed according to the National Curriculum 2006 and approved by DCTE Abbottabad (NOC No. 4395-97/SS-II, dated 25-10-2013).
