Jami at-Tirmidhi (Volume 6)

Jami at-Tirmidhi, also known as Sunan at-Tirmidhi, is one of the six major collections of hadith (the Sihah Sitta), compiled by Imam Abu Isa Muhammad ibn Isa at-Tirmidhi (d. 279 AH / 892 CE). After each narration the compiler gives its grading, names other Companions who reported on the subject and notes how the early jurists acted on it, which makes the book a reference for comparative fiqh as well as hadith.

This is the sixth and final volume of the English translation by Abu Khaliyl, published by Darussalam in 2007. Each hadith appears in Arabic with its English translation, followed by a grading by Hafiz Zubair Ali Zai and short explanatory comments.

Volume 6 covers hadith 3291 to 3956. It completes the chapters on Tafsir begun in Volume 5, then gives the Book of Supplications, a large collection of the Prophet's du'as for daily life, and ends with Al-Manaqib: the virtues of the Prophet, his family, the Companions and certain tribes and lands.
