About this ghazal

A comic ghazal in the rough street speech of Agra, on the refrain "be", a rude "hey you". The proud loved one snaps at the lover for speaking and for sitting too close, and even tells the full moon not to shine so brightly. In the last couplet the poet turns the joke on himself: love has taken all his old swagger. Given in full.
