About this ghazal

A ghazal on the radif "kyun na ho" (why should it not be): a clear heart becomes the place where the beloved shows herself, as a mirror becomes worth looking at. Mir moves from the beloved's charm that holds the whole world captive to the lover's daily death of separation, and ends with white hair telling the heedless that morning has come. Two couplets of the original are not included here.
