About this ghazal

A ghazal on the radif "hai" with the rhyme "-al": the world, Mir says, is a strange killing-ground where everyone's fate is settled in a moment. Don't trade today's cash for tomorrow's credit; the heart is a locked house that never opens; look into your own collar and the heart is a trackless jungle; and the mountain-digger died of the old truth, out of sight is out of mind. Given in full.
