Tareekh-e-Islam (Volume 3)

Tareekh-e-Islam (تاریخ اسلام) is a three-volume history of Islam in Urdu by Maulana Akbar Shah Khan Najeebabadi. It is one of the most widely read general histories of the Muslim world in the language, written as a connected narrative for ordinary readers and not only for scholars.

Volume 3 begins with Andalus: the state of Spain before the Muslims, its conquest under Tariq bin Ziyad and Musa bin Nusair, the governors who ruled it and the Muslim state that grew there. The rest of the volume follows the later Muslim dynasties and completes the work.
