Allama Shibli Nomani's Urdu biography of Imam Abu Hanifa Nu'man ibn Thabit, the jurist of Kufa — in a scan of a printing dated 1341 AH (about 1922–23).

Seerat-un-Numan (سیرۃ النعمان) is Allama Shibli Nomani's biography of Imam Abu Hanifa Nu'man ibn Thabit (d. 150 AH / 767 CE), the jurist of Kufa after whom the Hanafi school of law is named. Shibli describes his life, his teachers and students, and his contribution to the development of Islamic jurisprudence.

It is one of Shibli's early historical works, written in the same spirit as his other biographies of figures from Islamic history.
