Urdu ka Naya Qaida — Master Book Depot (1998)

Urdu ka Naya Qaida is a small Urdu primer for Class 1 (pehli jamaat) published by Master Book Depot, Urdu Bazar, Lahore, in a first edition dated March 1998. It is a privately published primer of 16 pages printed in two colours, not a textbook board publication.

The primer opens with the letters of the alphabet, each with a picture and a word (alif anar, bay bakri, pay pankha and so on), then gives the whole alphabet, mixed letters for practice, two-letter words with zabar, zer and pesh, pages on the joined forms of the letters, word practice, the aspirated sounds with pictures, and short sentences. It ends with a reading lesson, Achha Larka, and carries the national anthem on its back cover.

All rights are reserved (the back cover prints "jumla huqooq mahfooz"), so only the first three pages are shown here as a preview and the book cannot be downloaded. The copy scanned carries a bookseller's ink stamp on its cover.
