About this book

Surah Al-Hujurat (The Chambers), the 49th surah of the Holy Quran: 18 ayahs, revealed in Madinah. Arabic text in clear Indo-Pak script.

Surah Al-Hujurat (سورة الحجرات, "The Chambers") is the 49th surah of the Holy Quran. It has 18 ayahs and was revealed in Madinah.

It is a short code of manners for the Muslim community: respect for the Prophet, checking news before acting on it, making peace between believers, and avoiding mockery, suspicion, spying and backbiting. It declares that the most honoured before Allah is the most God-fearing.

This PDF gives the Arabic text of the surah only, without translation, in the large, clear Indo-Pak script that readers in Pakistan are used to, with ayah numbers and ruku marks. It has 5 pages and can be read online or downloaded for recitation and memorisation.
