Chemistry 12 — Sindh Textbook Board (2020)

Chemistry 12 is the Sindh Textbook Board's chemistry textbook for Class XII (Class 12, 2nd Year, Intermediate Part 2), in its printing of October 2020. This PDF is a phone scan of the complete printed book: 279 pages, with 11 chapters in two parts, inorganic and organic chemistry.

Part I, Inorganic Chemistry, has Periodic Classification, Hydrogen, s-Block Elements, p-Block Elements and d-Block Elements (Transition Elements). Part II, Organic Chemistry, has Introduction to Organic Chemistry, Chemistry of Hydrocarbons, Alkyl Halides, Carbon Compounds with Oxygen Containing Functional Groups, Chemistry of Life and Chemical Industries in Pakistan.

All rights are reserved with the Sindh Textbook Board, Jamshoro, which prepared the book; this printing was published for it by Sundus Enterprises, Karachi, and printed by Kifayat Printers, Karachi. The credits page records the approval of the Ministry of Education (Curriculum Wing), Islamabad (letter No. F.1-2/89 (Chem.), dated 9-12-1990), and the preface says the curriculum was being introduced in Sindh from 1991. The back cover gives the price as 131.10 and 5,000 copies. The reverse side shows through the paper in places; the inside pages carry an added banner and diagonal watermark and a scanner-app line at the foot.
