Surah An-Najm

Surah An-Najm (سورة النجم, "The Star") is the 53rd surah of the Holy Quran. It has 62 ayahs and was revealed in Makkah.

It affirms that the Prophet does not speak from his own desire but conveys revelation, refers to what he saw on the night of the Ascension, and rejects the idols of the Quraysh. It ends with an ayah of prostration.

This PDF gives the Arabic text of the surah only, without translation, in the large, clear Indo-Pak script that readers in Pakistan are used to, with ayah numbers and ruku marks. It has 5 pages and can be read online or downloaded for recitation and memorisation.
