Detail of Textbooks at HSSC Level — FBISE Circular (2 May 2019)

This is a five-page circular of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, No. 1-10/FBISE/RES/HSSC/229, dated 2 May 2019, on the subject "Detail of Textbooks at HSSC Level". It lists the textbooks and their publishers for Class XI and Class XII (HSSC-I and HSSC-II), effective from the academic year 2019-20 onward.

The table covers 40 subjects, with the syllabus year of each and the publisher or the individual books for each of the two years. For example, it names the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar, for English Compulsory, Urdu Compulsory and Physics; the National Book Foundation, Islamabad, for Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and, in HSSC-II, Pakistan Studies; and the Punjab Textbook Board, Lahore, for Mathematics. Subjects 33 to 40 are those of the Commerce Group.

The circular is signed by the Director Research and addressed to the heads of institutions affiliated with FBISE at HSSC level. It is a clean office scan; the last number of the reference is handwritten on the original. Check the board's website, www.fbise.edu.pk, for any later list.
