Chemistry 12 — Balochistan Textbook Board (2020)

Chemistry 12 is the Balochistan Textbook Board's chemistry textbook for Class XII (Class 12, 2nd Year, FSc Part 2), first edition, printed in 2020. This PDF is a phone-camera scan of a printed copy: 404 pages, with chapters 13 to 24 (the numbering continues from the Class XI book), references, an index and a glossary. Please note: two printed pages at the end of Chapter 20 (within pages 282 to 284, part of its exercises) are missing from this file.

The twelve chapters are s- and p-Block Elements, d- and f-Block Elements: Transition Elements, Organic Compounds, Hydrocarbons, Alkyl Halides and Amines, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes and Ketones, Carboxylic Acids and their Functional Derivatives, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry.

The title page reads "Publisher New College Publication Quetta for Balochistan Textbook Board, Quetta". The book follows the National Curriculum 2006 under the National Textbook and Learning Materials Policy 2007, with the approval of the Bureau of Curriculum and Extension Centre, Balochistan, Quetta (NOC No. 505-08/CB/PA, dated 28/01/2019). Authors: Mr. Abdullah Jan Zeerak and Mr. Ghulam Mustafa; editors Dr. Naqeebullah Khan, Dr. Samiullah Khan and Prof. Irshad Ali. The back cover gives 10,000 copies and a price of Rs 282. The inside pages carry an added banner and diagonal watermark and a scanner-app line at the foot, and the reverse side shows through on some thin pages.
