About this ghazal

Wherever the beloved's footprint falls, the poet sees whole avenues of paradise gardens. Lovers lose themselves in the mole by her lips, and her tall figure makes the turmoil of doomsday look small. In the close Ghalib dresses as a beggar to watch how the generous behave.
