About this book

Nimra Ahmed's much-loved spiritual novel about a young woman who finds guidance through the Quran.

Mushaf is one of Nimra Ahmed's best-known novels and a modern classic of Urdu spiritual fiction.

It follows Mehmal Ibrahim, a young woman facing hardship and unkindness in her relatives' home, whose life changes when she begins to read and understand the Quran, the mushaf of the title. Its verses become a source of strength and direction as she faces the trials around her.

The novel is loved for showing faith as something personal and living, and is often recommended alongside Peer-e-Kamil and Jannat Ke Pattay.
