Sunan an-Nasai is one of the six major collections of hadith (the Sihah Sitta), compiled by Imam Abu Abd ar-Rahman Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb an-Nasai (d. 303 AH / 915 CE). The version in common use, also called al-Mujtaba or as-Sunan as-Sughra, is his own shorter selection from a larger Sunan; it is arranged by subject, from purification and prayer to trade, judgements and conduct.
