For publishers and authors
Readers across Pakistan look for books like yours online. Let them find the real thing — on your terms. You decide how your book is read on ebooks.pk, for how long, and where readers buy it.
How your book can be read
Each book gets its own licence. You can change it, limit it to some countries, or give it an end date — when a licence ends, the book goes back to a catalogue page automatically.
Read online only
Readers read your book in our online reader, page by page, with search and bookmarks. There is no download button and no download link anywhere on the site — though the file itself still opens in the reader’s browser. For page images only, choose strict read online only.
Strict read online only
Readers see each page as an image in our reader — like Rekhta. The original file is never sent to the browser. Pages carry a light “ebooks.pk” mark. We are honest: nothing on the web stops a determined person from taking screenshots — but casual copying is not a click away.
Free preview
The first chapter or first pages (usually 10), then a clear row: buy a copy, request it, follow the author, “notify me”. The best way to turn searches into sales.
Full access
Read online and download — for backlist titles, promotions or books you want to spread as widely as possible.
Your own site
A full book page with reviews and search visibility that sends readers to your shop or website to read or buy.
What you get
- Revenue share from the ads on your books’ pages, through our Partner Program.
- Buy links to your shop, Daraz or bookshops on every book page — with your affiliate code if you have one.
- Readers who follow you: author pages, followers, “notify me when available”, reviews and ratings.
- Protection: we keep unlicensed copies of your books off the site (copyright blocklist) and act on notices quickly.
Short quotations used in reviews stay within fair dealing (a few hundred words of prose, a few lines of poetry). Anything more than that needs your licence.
